Stunning vintage 1930s silk pajama set in bright red silk satin with black piping. Blouse has large knotted buttons, frog clasps, gathered sleeves with turned cuffs, and a sash with fringe. Pants have pleats in front and back and a buttoned tab on one hip. A little additional size could be gained by moving the buttons. This set is in excellent condition apart from one very small spot under the seat, shown in last photo.  

There is only one tag reading Made in China inside blouse collar. Parts of this set are hand stitched. The fabric tests as 100% silk. Measurements are approximate, taken flat and doubled where necessary.
