Vintage Hostess Gown

Emerald green satin vintage 1940s hostess gown or robe in pristine condition. We acquired this robe with 3 vintage Gilbert Adrian dresses and a   They were the only things that the owner of a high end boutique in from the 1940s through the 1960s saved from her store.  This piece and the skirt had small cloth tags with the initials of the store owner pinned inside to the seam, but no other labels are found.  I'm not sure if they were made as samples for her review?  They were all in a garment bag together and appear unworn.  This beautiful emerald green satin piece is 62 inches long from the nape of the neck and fits bust sizes from 32-36" comfortably.  Comes with original sash that ties inside to leave the back free flowing, 3/4 length sleeves and in mint condition.
